Terms of business

Quotations, scheduling and inspections.

1. The parties. Inspections are provided by Rotational Torque Design Solutions Ltd, trading as RTD Solutions ("we", "us"), registered in England and Wales, company no. 16206249, to the organisation named in the quotation ("you"). PRAFIRA is our inspection process and application.

2. Quotations. A quotation is issued by email in response to a request made through this website or otherwise. It sets out the scope, the assets to be inspected, the days on site and the price. Prices exclude VAT. A quotation is valid for the period stated in it.

3. Scheduling and confirmation. On receipt of your purchase order referencing the quotation, we allocate inspection days from our schedule and confirm them to you in writing. No visit is scheduled until a purchase order is received.

4. Site conditions. Inspections are carried out with the asset in service and are subject to safe access and suitable operating conditions on the day. You will provide site induction, access, permits and a site contact. Where an inspection cannot be completed for reasons within your control or outside ours, we may charge for the visit and will agree a return date.

5. Reports. Reports are compiled and quality-checked after all inspections on the visit are complete and issued in a timely manner. Measurements are stated with their basis and limitations. Reports record the condition observed on the date of inspection and do not guarantee future performance of any asset.

6. Data. Inspection records are stored on the PRAFIRA platform against your assets and used to compare future inspections. They are your organisation's records and are not shared with other clients. We retain a copy as the inspecting engineer.

7. Cancellation. Cancellation or postponement terms are stated in the quotation.

8. Payment. Payment terms are stated in the quotation and on the invoice.

9. Liability. Our liability in connection with an inspection is limited as set out in the quotation. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything that cannot be limited by law.

10. Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
